Induron Protective Coatings has become a Recognized Manufacturing Unit within the Australian Paint Approval Scheme, or APAS.
The designation followed an audit of Induron’s Birmingham facilities and manufacturing processes. APAS is administered by Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation and is used within public and industrial sectors to support coatings qualification and procurement requirements.
Induron said the recognition supports its work in Australia and New Zealand with TEN Group, a provider of services for electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure.
The company said the recognition is intended to strengthen its ability to serve electrical transmission and distribution customers in Australia while supporting corrosion-control work on critical infrastructure.
