DKSH Expands U.S. Portfolio Following Specialty Chemicals Deal
DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials has expanded its partnership with Axel Plastics to distribute TBF Environmental’s specialty solvent technologies in the United States.
The expansion follows Axel Plastics’ acquisition of TBF Environmental. DKSH will continue providing business development, marketing, sales, logistics and technical support for the TBF product portfolio as part of Axel Plastics’ expanded offering.
TBF Environmental develops VOC-compliant, hazardous air pollutant-free alternatives to conventional solvents such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone and xylene. The products are designed for use in coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, inks, industrial cleaning and other specialty chemical applications.
“We are proud to expand our portfolio with TBF Environmental’s products and have DKSH on board to bring them to customers in the United States,” Axel Plastics President Ben Arnold said. “This represents an exciting opportunity to combine complementary technologies, technical expertise and customer-focused service.”
Ben Hopkins, vice president of DKSH North America, said the expanded offering will provide customers with a broader range of specialty additives and alternative solvent technologies supported by local technical expertise.
