SilvaFolia is produced from renewable cellulose feedstocks and is designed to help formulators reduce their reliance on titanium dioxide while maintaining key optical and surface properties. According to Seprify, the technology has completed performance testing and received encouraging initial customer feedback.

The product is now available for large-scale commercial trials. Grolman will provide formulation expertise, application testing and technical support as coatings, paint and ink manufacturers evaluate the technology.

Grolman operates local sales organizations and distribution networks across Europe, Turkey and several other markets. The companies said that network will help accelerate the evaluation and potential adoption of renewable pigment technologies in higher-volume industrial applications.

The expanded partnership is part of Seprify’s effort to develop cellulose as a materials platform for multiple industries. In March 2026, the Swiss company announced a €13.4 million Series A funding round to expand commercial production and support customer adoption.
