RHEINZINK Brings Coated Architectural Zinc Line to North America

RHEINZINK has introduced RHEINZINK-GRANUM EXTRA architectural zinc to the North American market for use in roofing, façade and wall cladding systems, gutters, downspouts and other exterior applications.
The proprietary titanium-zinc material features a matte, color-stable coating and is available in two finishes: EXTRA basalte, a dark gray approaching black, and EXTRA granite, a lighter gray inspired by the natural appearance of zinc.
According to the company, the material is designed to provide corrosion resistance, weathering durability and long-term color consistency for commercial and residential building projects. Its neutral finishes are intended to complement materials including wood, stone and glass.
“Architects, builders and owners are drawn to the elegant aesthetics and weather-resistant durability of RHEINZINK-GRANUM EXTRA architectural zinc,” said Ferdinand Altmann, sales director for North America at RHEINZINK. “Already in use throughout Europe, we’re excited to bring the authentic aesthetic of this sustainable material to North America.”
RHEINZINK-GRANUM EXTRA is developed and manufactured in Germany. The company said its production follows environmental requirements, quality-control procedures and international standards.
The material meets ASTM B69-21 requirements for Type 1 architectural rolled zinc.
