Former Hoenle Manager Joins GEW’s German Sales Team

GEW has appointed Jan Jonissek as sales manager for Germany, with an initial focus on the northern part of the country.
Based near Hamburg, Jonissek will support GEW D-A-CH’s existing team near Stuttgart and provide additional coverage for customers across printing, converting and industrial UV applications.
GEWJonissek joins GEW after 10 years with Eltosch Grafix and Hoenle AG, where he worked in project management and sales for LED curing systems. He began as a project manager in 2016, overseeing international projects, and became a key account manager in 2021 with responsibility for an OEM partnership serving the sheetfed and web offset markets.
At GEW, Jonissek will manage regional sales for label and web printing, converting, sheetfed and web offset printing, and industrial and specialty UV projects.
“His breadth of knowledge and experience tells us he will be a perfect addition to the team, and his sales background is very well aligned with GEW’s leadership in LED curing systems for flexographic and offset printing markets,” said Robert Rae, managing director of GEW.
Jonissek previously worked in project management with Mercedes-Benz and Daimler AG in Bremen. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and is fluent in German and English.
