Plastic AODD Pump Transfers Corrosive Fluids at High Flow Rates
Finish Thompson introduced the FTI Air FT30P, a 3-inch plastic air-operated double-diaphragm pump for transferring corrosive and abrasive fluids.
The pump delivers flow rates up to 300 gpm with maximum air-supply and outlet pressures of 120 psig. A stall-resistant air valve eliminates separate pilot valves and mechanically operated pilots, reducing the number of wear points in the air-distribution system.
Polypropylene wetted components provide resistance to alkalis and strong acids. Users can select diaphragm, ball, seat and O-ring materials based on chemical, temperature and abrasion requirements. Adjustable center porting and 3-inch flanged connections support integration into existing piping systems.
Applications include plating solutions, acids, bases, wastewater, paints, inks and solvents.
The pump’s chemical-resistant construction and material options are applicable to finishing operations that transfer plating solutions, acids, bases, wastewater and coating materials.
