Titomic Secures More Than A$750K in U.S. Orders

Titomic Ltd. has received four U.S. purchase orders with a combined value exceeding A$750,000 during a two-week period.
The orders came from major aerospace prime contractors and a company in the energy sector. Applications span military and commercial space, commercial and military aircraft and oil and gas markets.
Titomic is focusing its cold-spray and Titomic Kinetic Fusion capabilities on manufacturing and sustainment applications where material performance, production speed and supply-chain resilience are important.
The company said the orders provide near-term revenue while expanding relationships with U.S. prime contractors and other strategic customers. Titomic also described the work as part of its effort to move customer projects from initial engagement and qualification toward repeat orders and larger production programs.
Any repeat or larger-scale opportunities remain prospective and should not be treated as committed backlog.
Titomic did not identify the customers, disclose individual contract values or specify whether each order involves new-part production, coating, repair or another cold-spray application.
Cold spray can be used for coating and repairing components as well as additive manufacturing. The process deposits material without melting the feedstock, making it useful for selected applications involving heat-sensitive materials and substrates.
The orders are relevant to PCI readers following special-purpose coatings and surface-engineering methods used for aerospace, defense and energy component protection and repair.
