Waterborne Acrylic Adhesive Targets High-Speed Film Lamination
Trinseo has introduced LIGOS™ A 9202, an all-acrylic waterborne adhesive engineered for flexible film dry lamination.
Designed for high-speed lamination, the adhesive provides dry-bond performance across a range of flexible film structures. It can be incorporated into conventional gravure, roll-to-roll and slot-die coating processes. Trinseo says fast adhesion build-up and stable coating performance can help improve manufacturing efficiency.
The product is part of Trinseo’s continuing expansion of its acrylic latex binder platform, including investment in laboratories, R&D capabilities and production facilities. The wider portfolio supports pressure-sensitive adhesives, flooring, architectural coatings and cementitious systems.
