NTIC Names Gautam Ramdas President and CEO

Northern Technologies International Corp. (NTIC) has appointed Gautam Ramdas president and CEO as part of a broader leadership transition at the corrosion-management company.
The changes became effective Sept. 4. Ramdas succeeds G. Patrick Lynch, who has been named chairman of the board. Richard Nigon, the company’s former chairman, has become lead independent director. Brian Haglund was promoted from vice president of operations, North America, to chief operating officer.
Ramdas has been with NTIC since 2005 and most recently served as vice president of ZERUST Integrity Solutions. Haglund joined the company in 2018 and most recently led its North American operations. Lynch had served as NTIC’s president since 2005 and CEO since 2006.
NTIC’s primary business is corrosion prevention under the ZERUST brand. The company’s corrosion-management portfolio includes coatings, packaging, liquids and engineered systems used across automotive, general industrial, oil and gas and other markets.
The leadership transition is relevant to PCI readers following industrial coatings and corrosion-control technologies.
