ChemQuest Adds Sabina Chatterjee to Leadership Team

The ChemQuest Group has appointed Sabina Chatterjee executive vice president and a member of the firm’s leadership team.
Based in New York City, Chatterjee will be responsible for driving growth in ChemQuest’s Business Strategy & Transformation and M&A Advisory practices. She will work with Chairman Daniel Murad and CEO Robert Lovegrove as the firm expands its advisory services for private equity firms, strategic buyers and founder-owned businesses.
Chatterjee has followed the chemicals industry for approximately 20 years and brings experience in capital markets, transactional advisory and strategic positioning.
Before joining ChemQuest, she served as a managing director in investment banking at Wells Fargo, where she spent 15 years in roles spanning investment banking, equity research and sustainable finance. A chemical engineer by training, she also worked in manufacturing and procurement at Colgate-Palmolive.
“Her accomplished background provides a sophisticated financial lens to complement our core consulting strengths,” Murad said.
Chatterjee said ChemQuest’s knowledge of chemical formulations gives the organization a foundation for connecting technical and operational expertise with financial and transaction advice.
The appointment expands the financial and transaction capabilities of a consulting firm active across coatings, specialty chemicals and advanced materials. Follow PCI’s coverage of paint and coating distributors and services.
