CTT Conference Kicks Off Wednesday, Select Sessions Available Live Online
The 2026 Coatings Trends & Technologies Summit (CTT) opened today, Sept. 15, with short courses, setting the stage for the conference technical program beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16.
For coatings professionals who cannot attend in person, CTT will offer free live streaming of three select sessions, including the keynote presentation.
The livestream begins at 8:20 a.m. CDT with Calum Munro of PPG presenting, “Coatings in the Era of Smart Manufacturing: Productivity and Sustainability Ahead.” The session runs through 9:15 a.m. CDT.

Two afternoon presentations will focus on artificial intelligence and coatings innovation. Kevin Meyer of Albert Invent will present “AI-Driven Coatings Innovation from Discovery to Commercialization” from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m. CDT. Sasha Novakovic of Alchemy will follow with “Generative AI: A Hammer Looking for a Nail? Or a Powerful Tool in the Toolbox?” from 4:20 to 4:50 p.m. CDT.
Registration for the livestream is free. Those who cannot attend the sessions live can register to receive a link to the recording after the presentation.
