H.B. Fuller Co. has appointed R. Jeffrey Bailly to its board of directors as the company continues to reposition its portfolio toward higher-growth, higher-margin markets.
Bailly brings more than three decades of leadership experience spanning manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation and medical technology. He served as CEO of UFP Technologies from 1995 to 2026 and currently serves as executive chairman of that company’s board.
During Bailly’s tenure as CEO, UFP Technologies completed more than 20 acquisitions and expanded into additional technologies and end markets. H.B. Fuller said UFP’s revenue increased approximately 20-fold during that period, while profitability and market capitalization grew more than 150-fold. Those growth comparisons were provided by H.B. Fuller in announcing the appointment.
H.B. Fuller President and CEO Celeste Mastin said Bailly’s experience in medical markets and business transformation aligns with the company’s effort to accelerate its path toward an adjusted EBITDA margin above 20%.
Bailly has joined H.B. Fuller’s Audit and Compensation committees, according to the company’s current board profile.
Ruth Kimmelshue is stepping down from the board after nearly nine years of service. H.B. Fuller said its board and leadership have been engaging with shareholders as the company enters the next phase of its portfolio transformation.
H.B. Fuller supplies adhesives, sealants and functional coatings across more than 30 market segments. The company reported 2025 revenue of $3.5 billion.
