DENIOS has appointed Ernesto Milan as director of operations, a newly created position overseeing manufacturing and operational functions at the company.
Milan’s responsibilities include manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, logistics, maintenance, continuous improvement and operational performance.
He most recently served as director of manufacturing engineering for Fenco Solutions and has experience across several engineering disciplines. Milan holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo and a master’s degree in engineering management from Indiana Institute of Technology.
“We’re excited to have Ernesto leading our manufacturing team,” said Diego Rodriguez, CEO and president of DENIOS.
DENIOS serves North American customers from a 100,000-square-foot facility in Louisville that houses engineering, manufacturing, customer service and administrative operations. The company manufactures products ranging from spill-containment equipment to engineered, fire-rated chemical storage buildings.
Its equipment is used by facilities that handle hazardous materials and chemicals, including manufacturing operations where safe storage, spill containment and environmental protection are required.
The appointment is relevant to coatings manufacturers following plant safety and production operations because DENIOS supplies hazardous-material storage, spill-containment and handling systems used in chemical manufacturing environments.
