PPG plans to close an Ozark Materials LLC facility in Greenville, Alabama, according to a state workforce filing, less than a year after acquiring the pavement-marking materials business.
The Alabama WARN notice lists the action as a closure beginning Nov. 30, 2026, affecting 52 employees.
PPG completed its $65 million acquisition of Ozark Materials from Ingevity Corp. in April. At the time, PPG said the acquisition would strengthen its North American pavement-markings business and add manufacturing capabilities and approximately 130 employees.
PPG has characterized the Greenville closure as part of efforts to reorganize operations and adjust its production footprint while supporting product quality, service and cost objectives.
The closure represents an early manufacturing-footprint change following the acquisition and comes as PPG integrates Ozark's pavement-marking operations into its Traffic Solutions business.

The move is notable both as a coatings manufacturing closure and as a rapid operational change following a sizable acquisition in the traffic and pavement-markings market.
