Portable Spectrophotometer Platform Connects Color Data From Lab to Production

X-Rite Pantone has launched Spectura, a portable sphere spectrophotometer platform designed to connect color measurement from the laboratory through production.
Spectura combines portable measurement hardware with secure cloud connectivity, NetProfiler integration, high-definition camera targeting, temperature-aware measurement and an expandable application framework. Color and instrument-performance data can flow into X-Rite Color iQC workflows, allowing quality teams to review results across locations and suppliers.
The series includes three models. Spectura S60 is designed for portable color comparison, S62 for routine quality control, and S64 for tighter tolerances and closer agreement with Ci7800 benchtop spectrophotometers.
The Spectura Series is available now. X-Rite Pantone plans to demonstrate the platform during FAKUMA 2026 and hold a global launch event Oct. 21.

Connected color measurement can help coatings manufacturers maintain standards across laboratories, production plants, suppliers and customers while reducing manual data transfer and accelerating corrective action.
