OKLAHOMA CITY - Kerr-McGee Chemical L.L.C. announced the promotions of Kelly A. Green to vice president of Global Technical Sales and Service, a new position, and John D. Romano to vice president of Global Pigment Marketing. The company named Ian M. Mouland to succeed Romano as regional manager for Pigment Sales in the Eastern Region of the Americas.

Linda Lee, previously manager of European Accounting and Financial Reporting, has been promoted to managing director for Kerr-McGee Pigments International, a new marketing, manufacturing and shared-services company based in Zurich, Switzerland. The organization will serve as a single point of contact for chemical customers in Europe and provide business services to the company's European operations, the company said. Lee joined Kerr-McGee in 1983.

Green was formerly director of Technical Sales and Service for the Americas, and joined the company in 1989, and Romano has been with the company for 12 years.

Robert C. Gibney, formerly vice president of Global Pigment Marketing, was named chief marketing officer for Avestor Corp., a joint venture of Kerr-McGee Chemical and Hydro-Quebec that is developing power-cell technologies.
