Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced its entry into the European marketplace with the launch of its “Sunfire” line of finishes.

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp., Cleveland, announced its entry into the European marketplace with the launch of its “Sunfire” line of finishes. At a news conference in Paris, company executives described the product line as a low-VOC basecoat/clearcoat system targeting automotive-refinish and OEM-coatings users. Richard Rodick, vice president, Automotive-International, also announced a distribution agreement with Saint Amand-Service France, a France-based distributor. “We expect our presence in Paris to be extremely successful, and plan on using it as a springboard in reaching additional European markets,” Rodick said. Joining Rodick at the news conference was Michael A. Galasso, president of Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp.
