Heidi Alderman has joined BASF's Functional Polymers business in North America as Business director, based in Charlotte, NC. Alderman was most recently business manager, Architectural Coatings, with Air Products and Chemicals Inc.
The Inter-Society Color Council (ISCC) presented its 2003 Nickerson Service Award, recognizing "outstanding long-term contributions toward the advancement of the ISCC and its aims and purposes," to Ellen Carter, an industry consultant and former senior color scientist for The Sherwin-Williams Co.
Peter Ellwood, formerly Group CEO of Lloyds TSB Group plc, has joined the ICI plc board as a non-executive director and deputy chairman. Elwood will succeed Alex Trotman as chairman when Trotman retires.
