ST. PAUL, MN - Buhler AG, a supplier of plant systems and processing equipment, announced plans to acquire the business activities of Draiswerke GmbH Mannheim's Dispersion and Micro Wet Grinding Technology unit. Terms were not announced.
Buhler said the acquisition will expand its operations in the production of processing equipment and related products for the manufacture of ink, coatings and specialty chemicals.
Draiswerke is a supplier of grinding equipment, mixers, dispersers, grinding media, and other processing equipment. The company is described as a pioneer in the development of high-speed bead mills.
