Greg Andersen has joined Mississippi Lime Co. as Marketing manager for Specialty Products. Mississippi Lime, based in Alton, IL, is a supplier of precipitated calcium carbonate and calcium oxide.

Lightnin, a unit of SPX Corp., has named David Cameron Market manager for the Environmental Group of Lightnin-Americas.

Wacker Chemical Corp. has named Lewis P. Clark vice president - Sales Coordination and Distribution. Clark, formerly vice president of the Resins, Silanes and Silica business unit of Wacker Silicones, will direct the company's national sales force and distribution in the NAFTA region.

Brian Czuchra has joined Plasticolors Inc., a supplier of pigment and additive dispersions, as Technical Marketing specialist for the company's Coatings Business Unit. Czuchra has previously held sales and sales-support positions.

Premier Mill has named Kevin J. Haggerty National Sales manager and Dave Hoover Service Sales manager. Haggerty has more than 15 years of experience in the industrial-equipment industry, and Hoover has 11 years of experience in the industrial-processing industries, including service and support positions involving mixing, milling, and dispersion equipment and industrial pumps.

GretagMacbeth has named Bob Olmsted Regional manager, Midwest Area, and Donna Annacone director of Sales, Americas South. Olmsted previously held various sales and product-management positions with the company, most recently as Product Marketing manager. Annacone, formerly with Minolta, will spearhead business development involving GretagMacbeth's Enterprise Color Management and Digital Imaging products.

The German coatings-industry journal Farbe & Lack has presented its annual Farbe & Lack prize, recognizing a young author of an outstanding coatings research paper, to Andreas Plagge for his paper on the development of non-toxic, thin cellulose phosphate coatings for use in anticorrosion applications on steel.

Clariant Pigments & Additives has named Petra Rothe Marketing manager/Coatings for the NAFTA region. She was formerly executive assistant to G*nther Hencken, head of Clariant's Pigments & Additives Division in Frankfurt, Germany.

Christopher J. Sieto has joined Elementis Specialties as Market Development manager, with responsibility for market growth of waterborne products for coatings.

Degussa Corp. has named Stefan Uhrlandt Technical Market manager, Silica & Silicates, with responsibility for silica and silicates applied technology in the NAFTA region.

Pete Wheeler has joined Paar Physica USA, the U.S. distributor of Physica research and quality-control grade rheometers and viscometers, as Consulting rheologist for the Midwest. The company also named Reinhard Eberl National Service manager.

Ferro Corp. announced the resignation of Bret W. Wise as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Wise plans to pursue an opportunity in the life-sciences industry, the company said. J. William Heitman, vice president, Finance, will assume the position of acting chief financial officer.
