WEST WARWICK, NJ - Soluol Inc., a privately held manufacturer of water- and solvent-based polyurethane resins and coatings, has acquired Noveon Inc.'s solvent-based polyurethane resin product line. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquired products are used in the graphic arts, paint and coatings, and textile industries.
Soluol President and CEO Warren Simmons said the acquired products will be integrated into the company's existing product lines. He said the purchase offers opportunities to expand the business's range of urethane capabilities.
Soluol, based in West Warwick, NJ, was founded in1931 and supplies a range of polyurethanes to the coatings, textile, adhesives, blister-packaging, medical, and other related markets.
