THOROFARE, NJ - The Solvay Group announced the launch of a new company as a result of the integration of its fluoropolymers activities with those of Ausimont, which was acquired by Solvay in May of 2002.

The new company, named Solvay Solexis, is a major global supplier of fluoropolymers, fluoroelastomers and fluorinated fluids for various industrial markets, Solvay said. The new business will be based in Bollate, Italy, and will operate production sites and commercial offices in Italy; Thorofare and Belle Mead, NJ, and Orange, TX; France; Japan; and Brazil.
