Lilly Industries announced plans to expand its Wood Coatings Research and Development facilities at the company’s High Point, NC, Technology Center.

INDIANAPOLIS — Lilly Industries Inc. announced plans to expand its Wood Coatings Research and Development facilities at the company’s High Point, NC, Technology Center. The expanded R&D facility will house the company’s global wood coatings Research and Development group, as well as an applications laboratory featuring advanced application equipment.

The $1.5-million expansion project will add an additional 20,000 square feet to Lilly’s existing Wood Coatings Technology Center. Hugh M. Cates, vice president and general manager of the Wood Coatings Business Unit, said the expansion “reflects our continued commitment to serve the needs of our global wood coatings customers.”
