Sun Chemical to Acquire Bayer Pigment Plant
FORT LEE, NJ - Sun Chemical Corp. announced an agreement to acquire Bayer Corp.'s organic pigments business located at Bushy Park, SC. Completion of the deal was expected by April 1.
The Bushy Park plant manufactures Bayer's Indofast, Perrindo, Quindo, and Palomar organic pigments, which are used in automotive, industrial and architectural coatings and in plastics and fibers.
Sun Chemical, based in Fort Lee, NJ, is a major producer of printing ink and pigments.
