SOUTHIELD, MI — BASF Corp. has been recognized by the CLEARCorps lead hazard reduction program for the company’s leadership role in the launch and support of a CLEARCorps affiliate program in Detroit.
BASF, through its Coatings & Colorants Division Community Action Group, provided funding to establish CLEARCorps/ Detroit in 1999, and the company continues to support the program financially and with volunteer lead-prevention activities by employees. The award was presented at a National Paint & Coatings Association (NPCA) meeting in Washington, D.C.
