CULLMAN, AL — Peerless Coatings Inc., Cullman, AL, has acquired Piedmont Paints and Primers Inc. of Toccoa, GA. Both companies are privately owned and primarily supply the OEM metal- and wood-coatings markets.
Piedmont will operate as a Peerless subsidiary and will retain its name, Peerless said. Piedmont Chairman and CEO Walter Daves will remain active with the business during a transition period. The combined companies will have annual revenue of approximately $15 million.
