Wolstenholme International Inc., manufacturers and sellers of Unipak® metallic inks, bronze and aluminum pigments, and carbon black dispersions, has acquired several key personnel from the former MD-Both Industries. The following people will be based out of West Chicago, Ill.: Henry Brooks, executive vice president; Nick Rink, business development manager; John Erbeck, regional sales manager; Joseph Gantner, regional sales manager; Elise Balsamo, marketing manager; and Karen Allaire, executive assistant.

International Paint LLC, Houston, a division of Akzo Nobel, has recently hired David Dearmore to serve as senior account manager for the rail market.

Flowserve Corp., Dallas, selected current COO Lewis M. Kling as president, CEO and a member of the board of directors. Kling will succeed interim-chairman, president and CEO Kevin E. Sheehan, who was appointed by the board in April. Sheehan was named non-executive chairman of the board.

Brookfield Engineering Laboratories, Middleboro, Mass., recently promoted Joe Moi to vice president of International Business Development. For the past 16 years, Moi has served as managing director of Brookfield Viscometers Ltd. UK, and for two years prior to that he acted as Brookfield's European market manager.

Bunge Fertilizantes, Sao Paulo, Brazil, has appointed Gilmar Pinheiro global product manager to help launch one of its newest products, BIPHOR™, a white pigment used in the manufacture of paints, coatings and allied products.

BASF, Florham Park, N.J., has named Patrick M. Prevost president of the company's global Performance Chemicals operating division, based in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Prevost has been executive vice president of BASF Corp. and president of the Chemicals, Plastics and Performance Products regional division in North America.

BASF also announced that Joseph C. Breunig will succeed Prevost as executive vice president of BASF Corp. and president of the Chemicals, Plastics and Performance Products regional division in North America. Previously, Breunig served as group vice president of the company's Functional Polymers business in North America.

Robbins & Myers, Springfield, Ohio, has appointed Saeid Rahimian president of the newly formed Robbins & Myers Fluid Management Group, which includes Moyno and R&M Energy Systems.

Alberdingk Boley, USA, Greensboro, N.C., has appointed Yasmin Sayed-Sweet strategic business director to manage the distribution network, key accounts and new markets. Dr. Sayed-Sweet will be president-elect for FSCT in November 2005.

Michael Stack has joined DS Containers (DSC), Batavia, Ill., as account manager. He reports to James Jandora, vice president of sales and marketing, and will be responsible for DSC's sales in the Midwest.

Jody Stobbe has recently been appointed regulatory compliance manager at Buckman Laboratories, Inc., Memphis, Tenn. Her responsibility is maintaining Buckman's Hazardous Material Transportation compliance for the United States and to ensure environmental compliance for the Memphis plant.

Sartomer Company, Exton, Pa., part of Total's Chemicals branch, has appointed Vincent Vadot vice president of finance. Vadot is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling all financial activities for Sartomer.

Honeywell, Hopewell, Va., has named Walt Viola director of sales for Nylon Intermediates, a newly created business segment within Honeywell Specialty Materials.

The ChemQuest Group, Inc., Cincinnati, has appointed Dr. Zhiming "Jimmy" M. Zhou as general manager, China. Zhou will be located at ChemQuest's newly opened office location in China.
