The recent annual meeting of the Southern Society for Coatings Technology featured a varied technical program, beginning with a keynote address by Loren Hill on "Test Methods and Property/Property Relationships." The program also included presentations on grinding media, EPA regulations, pigments, additives, corrosion inhibitors, and formulation of exterior finishes.
The meeting, at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Jacksonville, FL, drew a total of more than 400 participants, with approximately 200 registrations for a technical program that included 13 presentations.
Meeting highlights also included a golf tournament and a deep-sea fishing trip, and a supplier tabletop exhibition that totaled 41 companies and organizations.
