Rose A. Ryntz will receive the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology’s highest honor, the George Baugh Heckel Award.

BLUE BELL, PA — Rose A. Ryntz, staff technical specialist at Visteon Corp., Dearborn, MI, will receive the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology’s highest honor, the George Baugh Heckel Award. The award will be presented at the opening session of the organization’s Annual Meeting on Oct. 18 in Chicago.

The award, established in 1951, recognizes “outstanding contributions that an individual has made to the Federation’s interest and prestige.” The prize is dedicated to the memory of George Baugh Heckel, temporary chairman of the FSCT when the organization was formed in 1922 and secretary for many years afterward.
