PPG Industries has named Dennis Kovalsky vice president of Aerospace Coatings and Sealants, and Marc Talman vice president of Packaging Coatings.

PITTSBURGH — PPG Industries Inc. has named Dennis Kovalsky vice president of Aerospace Coatings and Sealants, and Marc Talman vice president of Packaging Coatings. Gregory Hayes, European director of Sales and Marketing, has been named general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and John L. Liebenguth, director of Sales and Marketing, Asia-Pacific, has been appointed general manager, Americas and Asia-Pacific.

Kovalsky, general manager of Aerospace Coatings and Sealants since last October, joined PPG in 1977 as an engineer at the company’s Circleville, OH, resins plant. He later became International Coatings Operations coordinator in Paris and manager of PPG Industries Lacke’s Wuppertal, Germany, plant. He also has been Cleveland coatings-plant manager, director of Pretreatments, and global Pretreatment and Specialty Products director.

Talman was European Packaging Coatings general manager since January, and was managing director of the former Courtaulds packaging coatings business prior to its acquisition by PPG last year.
