Elementis Specialties, announced a reorganization into three new business units and a services group.

Elementis Specialties, Hightstown, NJ, announced a reorganization into three new business units and a services group in a program designed to serve key markets more effectively. The business units are the Coating & Ink, Specialty Markets and Consumer Products and Oilfield Chemicals groups. A fourth unit will provide services to the three business units, including research and development, e-business, licensing of technology, and development of new business opportunities. The Coating & Ink unit serves the industrial and decorative paint and coatings, ink and allied niche markets, and is headed by Vice President Bill French. The Specialty markets unit serves the UV-cured polymers, rubber, adhesives, sealants, lubricants, and plastics markets, and is under the direction of Vice President Greg Amato. Elementis Specialties formerly consisted of the business units Rheox, Performance Polymers, and Colorants and Additives.
