BASF Corp., Mount Olive, NJ, completed a $60-million expansion and capital-improvement project at the company’s Monaca, PA, manufacturing site. The plant produces acrylic and styrene-acrylic copolymers and styrene-butadiene dispersions used in architectural and industrial coatings, nonwoven and textile coatings, adhesives, coated papers, and other products. The project included capacity expansions, elimination of production bottlenecks, and expansion of the facility’s infrastructure to improve material-handling and process-management functions.
