The Technical Committee of the Philadelphia Society for Coatings Technology has announced a new symposium, Green Chemistry and its Effect on Waterborne Industrial and Architectural Coatings. The symposium will be held May 6-7, 2008, at the Williamson’s Restaurant in Horsham, PA.


HORSHAM, PA - The Technical Committee of the Philadelphia Society for Coatings Technology has announced a new symposium, Green Chemistry and its Effect on Waterborne Industrial and Architectural Coatings. The symposium will be held May 6-7, 2008, at the Williamson’s Restaurant in Horsham, PA.
Presenting at the symposium will be John Warner of The Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry; Lakshmi Sadasivan, Rohm and Haas; Wenjun Wu, Dow Chemical; Scott Harvey, Ashland Specialty Chemical; Alvin Lavoie, Rohm and Haas; Kelly Smith, Nuplex Resins; Kurt Davidson, Ciba Specialty Chemical; Richard Eley, ICI Paints; Bree Sorrell, Rohm and Haas; Xiaodong Wu, Rhodia; Leo Procopio, Rohm and Haas; and Subu Natesan, BASF.
 
A trade show will be presented at the same time as the lecture series. There is no charge to attend the show, which will be held on Tuesday, May 6, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
