CORDOVA, TN – Due to increased costs in raw material and transportation, Lucite International has announced a price increase for Elvacite® core acrylic resins. Effective Sept. 22, 2008, or as contracts allow, the price for the Elvacite core acrylic resins E2016, E4111, E4149 and E4144 will increase by 20 percent, and prices for Elvacite specialty grades will increase by nine percent.

 

In spite of some manufacturer-reported supply shortages of BMA/MMA copolymers, Lucite International remains committed to maintaining the supply of Elvacite resins to its customers. Barring unforeseen circumstances, these resins will continue to be available.
