Troy Chemical Receives Environmental Award
FLORHAM PARK, NJ – The Troy Corp. manufacturing facility in Newark,
NJ, has been awarded the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection
Stewardship Award. This award is given to members of the regulated community
who are engaged in positive activities that benefit the environment. The NJ DEP
presented the award to Edward Capasso, Corporate Director
Environmental/Regulatory Affairs.
Capasso stated that, “Troy Corporation has continued its commitment to leading environment stewardship by establishing a comprehensive environmental policy, creating and enforcing a rigorous environmental management system (EMS), and reducing its manufacturing and operational energy requirements through process improvements.”
The NJ DEP’s Environmental Stewardship Award recognizes businesses and corporations that go beyond the minimum requirements of existing rules and regulations. Troy is committed to sustained excellence and outstanding achievement in protecting the environment. In addition, Troy encourages innovations in operations, maintenance and the sharing of best practices throughout the industry.
