SHARONVILLE, OH – DuBois Chemicals of Cincinnati, OH, working with ACT Test Panel Technologies of Hillsdale, MI, has produced a new “standard” paint pretreatment/metal surface finishing test panel. The panels are coated with the new DuBois non-phosphate, low temperature Zirconization paint pretreatment process. The DuraTEC process, which is zirconium based, is a high-performing alternative to traditional iron phosphate conversion coatings that can be applied via traditional spray washer, immersion or spray wand.

“DuraTEC represents our continuing commitment to offer customers sustainable products that will not only improve their environmental profile, but will lower their total cost,” said DuBois Surface Finishing Products Manager, Dave Schimpff. “We are proud to be associated with ACT, a true leader in providing test panels and services to the manufacturing industry.”
