Dow Izolan, the joint venture company between The Dow Chemical Co. (Dow) and the Russian polyurethane systems producer, Izolan, has named Mikhail Tsarfin General Manager. Since 2006, Tsarfin has been the company’s Sales and Marketing Director and First Deputy General Manager.

VLADIMIR, Russia – Dow Izolan, the joint venture company between The Dow Chemical Co. (Dow) and the Russian polyurethane systems producer, Izolan, has named Mikhail Tsarfin General Manager. Since 2006, Tsarfin has been the company’s Sales and Marketing Director and First Deputy General Manager.
 
Tsarfin succeeds Aldo de Santi, who will assume expanded business responsibilities while keeping his current role of Commercial Director for Northern Europe for the Dow Polyurethane Systems business. De Santi will continue to offer his experience to the joint venture.
 
Sergey Anikin, currently Sales and Marketing Manager for Dow Base and Performance Chemicals in Russia and the former Soviet Union, has been named Dow Izolan Sales and Marketing Director. He will be located in Vladimir.
 
On Sept. 9, 2008, Dow Izolan broke ground on a new manufacturing facility in Vladimir, which is expected to be completed by the end of third quarter 2009. The new polyurethane systems facility will expand the company’s manufacturing capabilities and help Dow Izolan serve its customers in Russia’s automotive, consumer, footwear, furniture, construction and appliance markets.
