SANTA BARBARA, CA - World Minerals Inc. will raise prices on all products effective Jan. 1, 2009, due to the high inflation in variable costs. Price increases will average 6-12 percent globally and may be higher in some cases to correlate with market conditions. The price increases will affect all diatomite, perlite and silicate products, as contracts allow. The energy surcharge will also remain in effect.
