ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA - The 73rd Annual Meeting and Technology Conference of the Southern Society for Coatings Technology (SSCT) was held at the King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort in St. Simons Island, GA, on March 15-18, 2009.

 

Leading the Technical Sessions was Keynote Speaker Stewart Williams of Rohm & Haas Co., who gave an informative discussion on “The Evolution of Green Chemistry in Coatings.” The theme, “On the Seas of ‘Green” Formulating,” continued to be explored through each of the remaining sessions.

 

The 2010 SSCT Annual Meeting, “Racing to New Technology in Coatings,” will be held at the Hilton Resort, Daytona Beach, FL, on Sept. 26-29, 2010. Randy Waldman will be coordinating the 2010 meeting and will be accepting proposals for technical papers to be presented at that meeting.
