BETHESDA, MD - David Harbourne, Fusion UV, was honored with the annual RadTech President's award at the RadTech Spring Member Meeting held May 18-19, 2009, in Baltimore, MD. In presenting the award, Mike Idacavage, of Cytec and current RadTech President, remarked that, "David works tirelessly as a foremost advocate, advisor and teacher for our industry and has been a key contributor to the success of RadTech for many years." The RadTech award is presented each year for outstanding contributions to the UV/EB industry and the RadTech organization.

 

Harbourne is President of Fusion UV, a leading worldwide supplier of UV systems, equipment and service. He has twice served as President of RadTech and has chaired various committees and task groups. Harbourne currently serves as RadTech's International Liaison and has made significant strides in collaboration with RadTech organizations around the world, including Europe, China, Japan, South America, Asia and Korea. "The success of RadTech North America is the result of the energy, commitment and enthusiasm of dedicated staff and volunteers, all of whom are equally positive in their opinions of the benefits of UV/EB technology and the economic and environmental contributions it has made and will continue to make for the foreseeable future," said Harbourne.
