SHANGHAI, China - American Colors has opened a new factory in the Shanghai Chemical Park in Shanghai, China. The new facility will allow American Colors to nearly double its existing capacity, with the potential to expand by an additional 50 percent in the future. The company has been in Shanghai since 2006.
 
James Oram Wible, President of American Colors, commented, “The increased demand for high-quality pigment dispersions to service the Chinese market necessitated a new and larger facility.” Added Matthew A. Kosior, Chief Operating Officer.
 
Established in 1975, American Colors manufactures high-quality pigment dispersions and additives for the plastics and coatings industries. In addition to the factory in Shanghai, American Colors has manufacturing facilities in Sandusky, OH, and Lebanon, TN.
