Marubeni Specialty Chemicals Inc. has selected Viachem to provide North American distribution of Asahi Kasei F310 polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) Resin. Marubeni has transferred all sales, service and marketing responsibilities for the specialty ingredient from ChemPoint.

 

Lycus specializes in UV light absorbers for use in plastics, coatings, adhesives and cosmetics. These powdered additives preserve and enhance a final product's color or fragrance, which can diminish with continued exposure to UV radiation. Lycus is the sole producer of UV stabilizers in the United States.

Marubeni has enlisted Viachem to gain broader distribution for F310 PVDC Resin based on Viachem’s reputation as a dedicated specialty chemical marketer.
