BERLIN, Germany - Nanotech Europe 2009 is set to take place Sept. 28-30, 2009, in Berlin, Germany. Professor Peter Grünberg, winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Physics, will headline the conference plenary session. The plenary session will be followed by over 30 sessions that will address the latest developments in nanotechnology across a range of application areas, from cancer therapies to solar cells, water purification, high-density magnetic storage, DNA origami and NEMS.
 
Nanotech Europe 2009 also features the Lux Research Executive Forum, which looks at the critical topic of open innovation in the context of nanotechnology, featuring speakers and panelists from Proctor and Gamble, Merck, Kuraray, Nanogate, Good Energies, and the European Commission.
 
Nanotech Europe is working with the Enterprise Europe network to arrange two matchmaking sessions. This service is intended to help companies, research groups and other organizations find partners for technology development and commercialization, collaborative research projects, and investment and other support.
