CHARLOTTE, NC – Clariant has expanded its North American distribution network for functional chemicals used in the paint, coatings and construction chemicals markets by adding one distributor and expanding the territory for another.

 

Effective Oct. 1, 2009, TH Hilson, based in Chicago, IL, has been added as a distributor in the Midwest. Established in 1973, TH Hilson is a leading distributor of specialty chemicals for the coatings and adhesives markets.

 

Also effective Oct. 1, 2009, the territory covered by functional chemical distributor PT Hutchins, based in City of Industry, CA, has expanded to include the western and southeastern United States.

 

Clariant’s range of functional chemicals for use in paint, coatings and construction chemicals include a wide array of functionalized PEGS, specialty surfactants, defoamers and biocides.
