LOS ANGELES – As part of its ongoing commitment to develop high-performance products that are eco-friendly, Dunn-Edwards has launched Enso™, a premium, low-odor, zero-VOC paint. Enso has virtually no odor during or after application, making it ideal for use in occupied spaces, such as homes, hotels, schools and hospitals.

Unlike many low-odor products on the market, Enso offers top performance, comparable to that of premium conventional paints. According to Brad Wheeler, Product Manager, Enso uses a new resin technology that allows for a harder surface than that of many low-odor products, and it achieves this hardness without using organic solvents. “A lot of eco-friendly paints have poor dry-film performance, leaving the surface tacky or soft. Enso has eliminated that problem,” Wheeler explained. It is easy to apply and has excellent flow and leveling for a smooth finish. It also offers great hide, so fewer coats are needed, and provides excellent washability.

Like all Dunn-Edwards paints, Enso does not contain ethylene glycol (EG). Dunn-Edwards removed EG from its paint formulas in 1984.
