JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Arizona Chemical’s Commercial and Operations/Supply Chain organizations have been realigned to further facilitate the company’s global growth.

“This restructuring allows us to become a truly global company and align Arizona Chemical around business processes rather than geography,” explained Kees Verhaar, President and CEO.

When combined with the company’s move earlier this year to global enterprise-wide SAP, the restructuring also gives Arizona Chemical the flexibility to move more meaningfully into key markets in the BRIC countries.

As part of the organizational changes, Juhani Tuovinen will become Vice President – Global Commercial, with responsibility for leadership of all Arizona Chemical’s commercial, sales and marketing functions. Tuovinen has been with Arizona Chemical for more than 30 years and was most recently Vice President, General Manager - Europe.

Additionally, Gary Reed will become Vice President – Global Operations and Supply Chain, with responsibility for global plants and operations, as well as supply chain functions, including customer service. Reed has been with Arizona Chemical for more than 28 years and was most recently Vice President, General Manager – North America.
