The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council has issued a call for entries for the Polyurethanes 2010 “Polyurethane Innovation Award” nominations.

ARLINGTON, VA – The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council has issued a call for entries for the Polyurethanes 2010 “Polyurethane Innovation Award” nominations. Finalists will be selected and winners will be announced at the Technical Conference in partnership with UTECH North America on Oct. 11–13, 2010, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.

Companies or individuals interested in entering the award program must submit an application no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT on Aug. 27, 2010. Details on the award and an entry form can be found on the CPI Web site at www.americanchemistry.com/polyurethane. A panel of judges representing a cross section of polyurethanes experience and knowledge from industry, media and industry associations will evaluate all submissions and choose finalists for this year’s program. Each finalist will receive one complimentary full-conference registration.

Finalists will provide a three-minute presentation of their entry for the Polyurethanes 2010 Technical Conference in partnership with UTECH North America. Conference attendees will have a chance to cast one vote for the entry that they believe demonstrates the most innovative initiative or use of polyurethanes. The results will be announced on October 13, 2010, during the closing session of the conference.
