Burgess Pigment is featuring its OPTIWHITE® calcined aluminum silicate product line at Stand 7-245.OPTIWHITE is a premium whiteness flash calcined extender for TiO2, exhibiting excellent GE brightness used extensively in first line interior/exterior flat or low-sheen water-based and alkyd paint systems. It exhibits excellent whiteness retention and hiding when embedded in coatings and polymers.
OPTIWHITE MX® is a flash calcined clay exhibiting very good GE brightness and excellent extension of TiO2, whiteness, touchup and tint strength. It is used extensively in flat or low-sheen interior/exterior trade sales water-based, alkyd, or solvent-based coatings by reducing the amount of TiO2 and lowering raw material costs while maintaining opacity, whiteness and tint strength.
OPTIWHITE P® is a flash calcined clay used extensively to extend TiO2 in flat interior trade sales paints that do not require maximum whiteness. It exhibits good GE brightness and improves touchup, scrub and burnish resistance. OPTIWHITE P exhibits excellent opacity, flattening and a slightly off-white color.
