PASADENA, CA - Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has received a contract from DuPont Titanium Technologies (DuPont) to provide full engineering procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for the company's Mexico titanium dioxide (TiO2) capacity expansion project.

Under the agreement, Jacobs is providing full EPCM services for the upgrades to one of DuPont's TiO2 sites in Mexico. The facility will receive an investment of more than $500 million. It is expected to be completed at the end of 2014.

The expansion project in Mexico is part of a comprehensive TiO2 expansion plan, which will add about 350,000 metric tons of global capacity and strengthen DuPont’s capability to meet the increasing demand from its customers. Along with the expansion of the Mexico site, the company plans additional investments to improve the productivity at its other TiO2 sites around the world.
