Ken Kreeger, director of North American powder equipment at Nordson Corp., was installed as PCI president for the 2004-2005 fiscal year at PCI's annual meeting, held in Marco Island, FL. Dave Heflin, vice president of sales and marketing at Akzo Nobel Inc./Interpon Powder Coatings, was selected as PCI's vice president.

Phil Bechtold of Rohm & Haas Powder Coatings was elected PCI's secretary treasurer. Also elected to the PCI board for two-year terms were Steve Houston, DuPont Powder Coatings USA Inc.; Barry Keating, PPG Industries; Chris Merritt, ITW Gema; Don Williams, Troy Corp.; and Chris Wright, Carolinas Custom Clad, as the PCI custom coater representative to the board. Continuing to serve on the board is Jerry Trostle of Spray Booth Systems Inc.

Also announced at the annual meeting were the PCI committee and subcommittee chairmen. They are: Executive Committee, Ken Kreeger; Finance Committee, Phil Bechtold; Application & Recovery Equipment Committee, Terry Giles of Henkel Surface Technologies; Health & Safety/Test Procedures Committee, Eric Dumain of Reichhold Inc.; Membership Committee, Ron Cudzillo of George Koch Sons LLC; Industry Communications Committee, Phil Bechtold; Trade Show Committee, Bob Allsop of Nordson Corp.; Raw Material Suppliers Committee, Ralph Owens of EMS-Primid and Donna Foster of Cytec Industries Inc.; and Custom Coater Members Committee, Chris Wright.
